Аннотация

This article presents the results of areal GPR survey in two copper mines of the Bronze Age in Kazakhstan. As the copper ore, malachite and azurite from an ore body of the oxidation zone located on the top of bed rock were used. The surface of the ancient quarries according to GPR data is allocated for different type of wave pattern of anthropogenic soils and bedrock of the roof, and angular unconformity axes in phase of reflection between them. After interpolation of reflections from the bedrock roof according to all profiles, the models of the ancient mines surface during their exploitation have been constructed. It allowed us to estimate the amount of ore mined and smelted copper.
